You would think at SOME POINT even the MAGA Fascists would say enough is enough, but I guess that would defy Dear Leader and President Unelected Musk. DOGE continues to “delete” and invade the Federal government under the guise of “Fraud”. However it is important to note here that they haven’t found any fraud but just spending they don’t like.
The Republicans lead all branches of government, they can stop this at any moment if they wanted to. This is a Republican coup, not elon’s coup. “DOGE” is a useful tool to help Republican politicians evade responsibility.
DOGE Gains Access to Department That Oversees Nuclear Weapons: Reports
A person from Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has IT access to the Washington department overseeing nuclear weapons, without a government background check, according to multiple reports. Luke Farritor, 23, is now listed in the Department of Energy’s staff directory as an “information engineer,” E & E News reported. Newsweek has not been able to independently verify this information. Farritor’s placement in the Department of Energy, which oversees America’s nuclear weapons, raises serious security and governance concerns because he hadn’t been given a standard background investigation needed to access the department’s system, according to reports. So Farritor apparently bypassed a security check which any other American citizen would be subject to and now has access to secret information which could potentially be used against his fellow citizens.
Musk’s DOGE granted access to US Medicare and Medicaid systems
Musk’s DOGE Is Now Working at VA and Accessing Its Computer Systems
It’s important to note here that USAID was investigating Elon Musk’s STARLINK use via the Russians to attack Ukraine. Funny how he’s going after the FAA for holding Space X accountable for accidents.. Elon Musk’s Enemy, USAID, Was Investigating Starlink’s Contracts in Ukraine
Since coming into power, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency has barraged USAID, the international aid agency that dispenses food and supplies to nations all over the world. It is likely that the agency will soon be shuttered and could be subsumed into the U.S. State Department. Now, new reporting shows USAID was actually investigating one of Musk’s companies at the time that he attacked the agency. The Lever reported Tuesday that USAID’s inspector general was in the process of investigating its own public-private partnership between Musk’s Starlink and the Ukrainian government at the time that the billionaire’s DOGE crippled the agency. Publicly available information about that probe is still online. An announcement from last May reads: “The USAID Office of Inspector General, Inspections and Evaluations Division, is initiating an inspection of USAID’s oversight of Starlink satellite terminals provided to the Government of Ukraine. Our objectives are to determine how (1) the Government of Ukraine used the USAID-provided Starlink terminals, and (2) USAID monitored the Government of Ukraine’s use of USAID-provided Starlink terminals.” Musk has called the agency “evil” and a “criminal organization,” though the fact that USAID was investigating his company may suggest ulterior motivations for the billionaire’s vitriol. It’s unclear what the Starlink probe’s status is right now.

USAID security was defending a secure room holding classified data when a message came directly from Elon Musk: give the DOGE kids whatever they want. It was one of at least three calls by Musk to get access, including threatening to call US Marshals.
This is legally problematic for the employees who were guarding that data. They signed an SF-312 and are obligated to protect the classified information. They have committed unauthorized disclosure because someone who’s not a security manager told them to. (It’s not clear if these DOGE kids have clearances and access. You have to have both, and they must be verified.) Whoever was guarding the data is likely now subject to criminal prosecution and administrative punishment.
White House announces DOGE is canceling payments to Politico
“According to USAspending.gov, an official source for U.S. government expenditure data—and the resource used by Becker in his post—Politico received $8.2 million in total payments from government departments and agencies between fiscal year 2016 and fiscal year 2025. However, only $44,000 of this total came from USAID.”
So subscriptions to politico were also occurring under the first Trump administration. Let’s not spread fake news https://thedispatch.com/article/fact-check-politico-usaid-funding/ Also, it’s worth noting that these were institutional subscriptions to Politico Pro, which is more of a public policy toolset alongside fine tuned policy/public affairs news. It’s a tool used by people all across DC and in the public policy sector.. It’s like being mad folks are subscribed to Lexus Nexus.
