Rural farmers are in the find out stage

This is obviously a way to have corporations take over more farmland.. but I guess they are in the find out stage now.

What Trump has done for US farmers so far:

• Frozen their foreign aid program and left their food to rot.
• Released the water they were saving for summer.
• Encouraged EU to ban their products.
• Frozen legally-owed reimbursements for their energy efficiency upgrades etc.
• Threatened to deport half their workforce.
• Suppressed research on bird flu.

Farmers who signed contracts w/USDA under IRA programs paid upfront to build fencing, plant new crops, install renewable energy systems w guarantees that feds would issue grants/loan guarantees to cover at least part of their costs. Trump has frozen that money.

Threatening to tariff Canadian potash. Potash is a key component of fertilizer that US farmers need to grow their crops. Most of the potash used in the US comes from Canada.
